What customers say?

“ The set menu of chewy fresh pasta, salad bar, and drink is delicious and great value, so I always order it whenever I go. If I have room, I'll also add a chocolate mint tart or caramel banana cream tart. It makes me happy! I went back after a long time and they had changed the salad bowls to something cute. July 7, 2021 Cake buffet! ”

“ Visited on a weekday before lunch in February 2019. There was a group of customers, so I was surprised the parking lot was nearly full. This was my first visit after purchasing Yamagata Noodle Passport Vol. 5 at a convenience store yesterday. It didn't include the salad bar, but I was still wondering if it was really worth 540 yen (tax included). I looked at the cake menu and saw that Noodle Pass holders were offered a 50 yen discount, so I added a cake. Visited on a weekday in September 2020 for the first time in a while. I had the shrimp and cabbage peperoncino lunch set and it was delicious. Visited on a weekday in November 2020 for the first time in a while. I had the old-fashioned Neapolitan pasta - it was delicious. Visited on a weekday evening in October 2023 for the first time in a while. I bought Yamagata Lunch Passport Vol. 20 and saw that Gateau Fraise was featured, offering a choice of pasta and drink for 600 yen (tax included). I ordered the Neapolitan and hot coffee, expecting Tabasco and grated cheese to come with it, but they didn't, so I forgot to ask the waiter. Well, it was 600 yen including tax, so it was delicious. I visited on a weekday evening in October 2023. It was really quiet, which was nice. This was my second time using Yamagata Lunch Passport No. 20. You can choose your pasta and drink for 600 yen including tax, so this time I went for the mushroom peperoncino. Personally, I recommend it more than the Neapolitan I had last time. The noodles were chewy, surprisingly brothy, and had chopped garlic, so it felt like a sophisticated salt ramen with a garlicky peperoncino flavor, but it was delicious. Apparently, you can also choose cream sauce or Japanese style, but if I were to come a third time, I'd be hesitant. I might get the peperoncino again. On my way out, I paid at the register and tried to get my stamp, but they told me I could use the pass as many times as I wanted until the end of next month, so no stamp was required. Come to think of it, they said the same thing the first time, lol. I'm grateful. I visited on a weekday evening in April 2024, six months after my last Lampass order. It was empty last time, but today it was packed with young customers, perhaps students from nearby Yamagata University. I ordered the Lampass's choice of pasta and drink set for 1,350 yen, for 600 yen including tax. I chose mushroom peperoncino and hot coffee. When I paid, I wanted my Lampass book stamped, but they said, "You can use it as many times as you like during the period," so no stamp was given. The female staff member who served me was very friendly and nice, so I'll definitely go again. I visited on the evening of April 30, 2024. I ordered a Neapolitan and tea set for 600 yen including tax with Lampass. When I paid today, they stamped my Lampass book as usual, lol. It seems the infinite Lampass offer had ended, but it was delicious. I visited for the first time in over a year in October 2025 using a weekday evening lunch passport. I ordered a pasta and drink set for 600 yen (tax included) instead of the usual 1,280 yen (tax included), a large portion of Neapolitan for 200 yen (tax included) +, and a hot coffee. I would have liked powdered cheese and Tabasco, but they didn't. I'm sure they'd bring it if I asked, but I thought it was ok and just ate it as is. A large portion for 800 yen (tax included) with a drink is good value for money. Next time I'll probably have peperoncino. ”

“ We visited the cake buffet! They had a wide variety of cakes and puddings, and I was full before I even finished them all. Everything was large, and each cake normally costs around 400-500 yen, so it felt like I'd gotten my money's worth in no time. The pasta was served one plate at a time, and we had to finish it and order again. Since it was up to the chef to make the pasta, we couldn't choose, but they asked about allergies and likes and dislikes in advance, so it wasn't a problem. The pasta was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of salt. There was also a salad bar, and while the selection was limited, it was a nice palate cleanser. Drinks: Cold: Juice, Oolong Tea, Coffee Hot: Coffee, Black Tea Two or three cakes About the same as a plate of pasta With a drink and salad, it felt like it was worth it. The waiters were always smiling and saying, "It's okay," or "Is there something wrong?" They listened to me and asked me all sorts of questions, so I was able to express myself without any hesitation. The chef, while not very talkative, was very kind. Even though the restaurant was lightly staffed, they were still quick to respond, which was great. If I had to say something, it would be that, with the COVID-19 pandemic, there were only tables full of buffet-goers, leaving other tables empty... If I were to join a group with a more talkative person, I would probably hesitate... I'll definitely visit again! ”
